Mrs. Nancy Huffman Keziah


    BURLINGTON — Mrs. Nancy Huffman Keziah, 79, formerly of 999 Huffman Lane, Burlington, died 10:14 p.m., Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Carriage House Memory Care in Greensboro.
    A native of Alamance County, she was wife of the late John Washington “Bill” Keziah Sr. and daughter of the late Glenn A. and Mabel Lynch Huffman. She was a former church organist at Davis Street United Methodist Church for over 20 years, a member of the Alamance Country Club, a Lifetime Iron Duke and an avid golfer. She was a graduate of Burlington High School and Greensboro College majoring in music.
    Surviving are a daughter, Ann Keziah Hillier and husband Gerry of Longwood, Fla.; two sons, Michael Glenn Keziah of Burlington and John Scott Keziah and wife Kathryn Martin of N. Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and three grandchildren, Samantha Ann Davis, Jennifer Lee Davis and William Scott “Bill” Keziah.
    Services will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, November 21, at Davis Street United Methodist Church with Dr. Alan Sasser officiating. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
    The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday evening.
    Memorials may be made to Davis Street United Methodist Church, 606 E. Davis St., Burlington, N.C. 27215 or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
    The family would like to express their gratitude to Twin Lakes Memory Care, Carriage House Memory Care, and Hospice for their love, support, and compassion during Nancy’s illness.
