Earlie Mae Fogleman Clapp
   BURLINGTON — Earlie Mae Fogleman Clapp, 93, passed away Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, at White Oak Manor after 18 months of failing health. She was born in Guilford County to the late Early Lewis Fogleman and the late Norvie Leah Huffman Fogleman. Earlie was a homemaker.

   Survivors include her sisters, Nancy Brown, Ruth Straughn and husband Lynnwood and Ola Overman, all of Burlington; and many nieces and nephews.

   She was preceded in death by her parents; son, James Lee Clapp; sisters, Lucy Moore, Alta Faye Loy and Eunice Simpson.

   The graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013 in Low’s Lutheran Church cemetery.

   The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and at other times at her sister’s, Nancy Brown’s, home.
