William Robert “Pete” Wall Jr.
GIBSONVILLE — William Robert “Pete” Wall, Jr. 79 of 720 Dick St. died
Thursday May 16 at Wesley Long Community Hospital after a year of
declining health. He was born in Guilford county to the late William
Robert Wall, Sr. and the late Ottie Huffman Wall and the husband of
Evelyn Apple Wall of the home. He retired from P. Lorillard Tobacco
Company and was a army veteran of WW II.
Survivors include his wife, a son William Robert “Reggie” Wall, III of
Gibsonville and a granddaughter Candice E. “Candi” Wall.
The funeral will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home
Chapel by Dr. John Franklin Howard and Rev. C. Allen Myers, III. Burial
will follow at Gibsonville City Cemetery. The family will receive friends
6-8 tonight at the funeral home and at other times at the home.
Memorials made be made to Gibsonville United Methodist Church, 501
Church St., Gibsonville, NC 27249 or Apple’s Chapel Christian Church,
