It is with much Sadness that we announce the passing of Ella Margaret Lee Turner, on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at her home with her family beside her. She was the daughter of the late James Samuel Lee and Mary Peele McCray Lee and the wife of the late Howard Lee Turner.
Born in Alamance County she grew up in Caswell County. She worked at Burlington Industries and retired after 35 years of service. Margaret was a member of First Christian United Church of Christ for 66 years.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas Allen Turner and wife Mary, Jamey Howard Turner; daughter Sandra T. King; Stepdaughter Patricia T. Davis; grandchildren, Dwayne Turner and partner Kellie Capps, Melissa Ray and companion Sammy Watkins, Pattrick (Courtney) Turner , Cody Turner and fiancé Nicole Durham; great grandchildren, Weston Ray, Tucker Ray, Cassie Turner, Emery Turner, Avery Turner, Jensen Turner. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Catherine Mullis , Mary Willis Lucas; brothers Monroe Lee, Tommy Lee, Billy Sam Lee and stepson David Lee Turner.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Alamance Memorial Park with Reverend Darrell Massey Officiating . 261, Ella Margaret Turner
