 SNOW CAMP — Catherine Mullis, 89, passed away on August 2, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Mary Peele McCray and James Samuel Lee, and the wife of the late Hall Mullis. She was a member of Cane Creek Friends Meeting and The Telephone Pioneers of AT&T.
 
 Survivors include her daughter, Denise Hawks (Jim) of Snow Camp; son, Tony Mullis (Barbara) of Denton; sister, Margaret Turner; grandchildren, Jessica “Katie” Hawks, Bethany Hawks, Adam Mullis, Matthew Mullis and two greatgrandsons, Luke Land and Bennett Choate.
 
 Other than her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her sister Mary Lucas; brothers, Tommy Lee, Monroe Lee and Billy Sam Lee.
 
 The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral and Cremation Service on Wednesday, August 5, 2015, from 6-8 and other times at her residence.
 
The funeral service will be held at Cane Creek Friends
 
Meeting on Thursday, August 6, 2015, at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
 
 In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cane Creek Friends General Fund, 719 W. Greensboro-Chapel Hill Road in Snow Camp, North Carolina 27349.
