Mrs. Kathleen Wrenn McGuire


BURLINGTON — Mrs. Kathleen Wrenn McGuire , 79, formerly of Bland Boulevard, Burlington, died at Twin Lakes Center on Thursday, June 8, 2006.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Bruce Franklin McGuire and the daughter of Dolph A. Wrenn and Ina Lee Wilkins Wrenn , both deceased. She was a retired employee of Farrell Hosiery, and a member of Eastlawn Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Mr. Steve McGuire and wife Jane, of Greensboro, Mr. Kenneth "Joe" McGuire of Burlington, and Mr. Barry Mc-Guire of Gibsonville; two grandsons, Todd McGuire and Matthew McGuire ; one granddaughter, Catherine Rose Mc-Guire; one sister, Mrs. Rachel Christine Daves of Burlington; and one great-grandson, Dylan McGuire .
She was preceded in death by a brother, Mr. Edward Wrenn .
The funeral will be conducted at Eastlawn Baptist Church at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 2006, by Dr. Terry Prichard and the Rev. Jack Phillips. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Mortuary in Burlington from 6 to 8 this evening. At other times, they will be at the residence of a son, Joe Mc-Guire, 1915 Keogh St., Burlington, N.C. 27215.
