M/SGT. H.A. WILLIS' BODY ARRIVES HERE

The body of Master Sergeant Hugh Alexander Willis, thirty-one of the Blackburn
section of Catawba County, who was killed in an airplane crash February 17 at
Alta, Argentina, arrived in Hickory by train at 1:40 o'clock this afternoon. The body
will remain at the Bass-Smith Funeral Home until time for the funeral rites, which
will be sometime Sunday.

SERVICES TO BE SUNDAY AT 2:30

Funeral Services for Master Sergeant Hugh A. Willis, who lost his life last Feb. 17 when
the American plane, on which he was a crew member, crashed in the mountains of
Northwestern Argentina near the Bolivian border, will be conducted at Wesley Chapel
Methodist Church at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon.

The Rev. W.G. Burgin will be in charge of the rites, assisted by the Rev. W.C. Lyerly. Burial
will be made in Bethel Reformed Cemetery near Hickoy.

He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Margaret Teague of Hickory; two brothers, John
of Hickory and Eugene of the home; and a sister, Mrs. Rachel W. Troxler of Elon College.
