Nina Wilson Patterson
BURLINGTON — Mrs. Nina Wilson Patterson, 85, of Friendship-Patterson Mill Road, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Dr. George Graham Patterson who passed away in 2007 and daughter of the late Robert Luther and Helen Smith Wilson. She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church.
Nina Patterson will always be remembered for her gentle loving spirit. She lived her life in a way that was beautiful both inside and out. Her sweet smile, kind eyes and gentle ways were a treasure to all who knew her.
Survivors include her children Dr. David Stuart Patterson and wife Ruth, Mr. George Wilson Patterson and wife Joan, Mr. Frank Graham Patterson and special friend, Becky Walker, all of Burlington; Jane P. Eddy and husband Dr. Ralph Eddy of Asheboro and Susan P. Cameron and husband Jim of Spokane, Washington; grandchildren, Mr. Brian Patterson and wife Alyson, Dr. Stuart Patterson and wife Crissy, Dr. Nathan Patterson and wife Tiffany, Will Patterson, Lori Gilliam and husband Matt, Bobby Patterson and special friend Emily Carrouth, Katie Podracky and husband Dave and Michael Eddy and wife Bianca; great grandchildren, Blake, Scott, Emily Patterson and Miles Podracky. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Allen, Howard and Rita Wilson.
Funeral
services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2015, in Friendship United Methodist Church by the Rev. Henry Swanzey, pastor. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Patterson will remain at Lowe Funeral Home until being taken to the church for services. The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. Friday. At other times the family will be at the home of David and Ruth Patterson, 1395 Farm House Trail, (on Friendship-Patterson Mill Road) Burlington, NC 27215. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Friendship United Methodist Church at 4612 Friendship Patterson Mill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff at Edgewood Place Rehabilitation Center and Alamance Regional Medical Center for their support during Mrs. Patterson’s final days.
