Charity is daughter of Lt George Reeves and Jane Burton.

She married Zachariah Osborne son of Capt Enoch Osborne and Jane Hash.

It is family tradition that Zach is buried with her stone at Elk Creek, Piney Creek, Alleghany Cty, NC.
The family wanted a grave stone for her.... next to her husband and his second wife, near her homeplace at Elk Creek, Alleghy Cty NC.
Her bones are not there!!

It is family tradition that she is buried at Helton with no stone.
She died while visiting her GRDkids Enoch and Hylah and was buried here with them.
There is a large blank stone on her grave.
She was NOT taken home for burial.
Hylah married an Osborne cousin.
