Lavinia married Jacob Foust, who was a farmer, and also ran a grist mill. She was the mother of one daughter, Mary, who married Joseph Bason Whitsett. One of her grandchildren was William Thornton Whitsett, who became the principal of the Whitsett Institute.  470
