ESSIE HOLDER OBITUARY
Essie Workman Holder, 86 of Moncure, died Sunday, April 02, 2006 at HeartsField Assisted Living of Cary.
She was born April 01, 1920 in Hillsborough, North Carolina the daughter of the late Jasper Elmore Workman and the late Lelar (Raynor) Workman.
She was a member of Merry Oaks Baptist Church. She was retired from Chatham County Extension Service and North Carolina State Extension Service in 1985 with 38 years of service.
She is survived by daughter, Beth Holland and husband, Mike of Apex.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Brodie B. Workman, Allen B. Workman, and sister, Dallie W. Cotten.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 5, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Apex Funeral Home Chapel in Apex. Burial will be at Apex Cemetery on Wednesday, April 5, 2006.
Visitation will be held at Apex Funeral Home, 550 W. Williams St. (Hwy. 55), Apex on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to Heartland Home Health Care and Hospice, 3117 Poplarwood Court Suite 114, Raleigh, NC 27604.
