Mrs. Ann Chandler Leath
BURLINGTON — Mrs. Ann Chandler Leath, 75, of 607 Sartin Road, passed away Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Robert Otis “Bobby” Leath and daughter of the late Henry Harvey and Edna Graham Chandler. She was a member of Union Ridge Church and served on various committees. She was retired from Somers-Pardue Insurance Agency.
Mrs. Leath is survived by her husband, Robert Otis “Bobby” Leath of the home; daughter, Roxann Leath Cox and husband, Marty, and son, Jason Chandler Leath, all of Burlington; and a brother, Franklin Chandler and wife, Betsy, of Raleigh. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Graham Chandler.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at the Union Ridge Church by the Rev. Dan Ficklin and the Rev. James Rosser. Interment will follow in the Union Ridge Church Cemetery. Mrs. Leath will remain at Lowe Funeral Home until being taken to the church to lie in state 1 hour prior to the funeral service.The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall of the church following the graveside service.
