Louise P. Terrell


    ELON — Louise P. Terrell, 82, of 694 Stadler Road, died at 10:10 a.m. on Friday, March 12, 2010, at the Hospice Home.
    A native of Caswell County, she was the wife of the late George William Terrell Sr. and the daughter of the late George Pyrant Sr. and the late Emma Anderson Pyrant. She retired from Western Electric/ AT&T and was a member of Concord Christian Church in Caswell County.
    Louise is survived by two sons, G. W. Terrell Jr. and his wife, Wilda Bernice, and Baron Terrell and his wife, Sharon, all of Caswell County; four grandchildren, Kermit Smith, Synthoni Underwood, Joshua Lee Terrell and Gigi Blackard; four great-grandchildren, Cody Smith, Sarah Underwood, Samuel Underwood and Kaleb Smith; two step-grandchildren, Shannon Pointer and Terry Boswell; three step-great-grandchildren, Taylor Chaffin, Chris Chaffin and Bliss Pointer; one sister, Georgia Shambley; and one brother, William Pyrant.
    The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, March 15, at 11 A.M. at Concord Christian Church by the Rev. Keith Murray. The committal service will be held immediately following the service in the church cemetery.
    The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 3 until 5 p.m. at the Rich and Thompson Mortuary in Burlington. At other times they will be at the residence.
