OBITUARIES Mrs. Marie Brown Tysinger
BURLINGTON — Mrs. Marie Brown Tysinger, 98, formerly of Lucas St., Ossipee., died Saturday September 4, 2004 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. A native of Rockingham County, she was wife of the late Roy Glenn Tysinger and daughter of the late Rank and Onie Chrismon Brown. She was a member of Ossipee Baptist Church and retired from B. I. Williamsburg Plant
Survivors include a grand daughter, Aura Faye Simpson of the home; 4 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren and 1 step great great grandchild.; sister, Mrs. Cletus Joyner of Reidsville and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Ossipee Baptist Church by Rev. Ralph Harrell, Interim Pastor. Interment will follow in Apple’s Chapel Christian Church Cemetery. Mrs. Tysinger will remain at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory until being taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the funeral services. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 PM Monday. At other times at the home of the grand daughter, Aura Faye Simpson; 3137 Bellemont-Mt. Hermon Rd. Burlington, NC.
