Mrs. Jeanette Stigall Clack
ROXBORO — Mrs. Jeanette Stigall Clack, 68, of 181 Henderson Road, died Friday, Feb. 29,
2000, at Person Memorial Hospital.
A native of Person County, she was the wife of Mr. Charles H. Clack, who survives, and the
daughter of Mr. Spurgeon Stigall and Mrs. Evelyn Puryear Stigall, both deceased. She was a
member of Ca-Vel Baptist Church and later attended Highview Baptist Church.
Survivors other than her husband include two daughters, Ms. Suzanne Clack and Mrs. Tim
(Debra) Gentry, both of Roxboro; two sons, Mr. Charles Clack Jr. of Roxboro and Mr. Andy
Clack of Burlington; a brother, Mr. Steve Stigall of Person County; four sisters, Ms. Margie
Tingen of Granville County, Ms. Lucy Poole and Ms. Sylvia Hightower, both of Roxboro, and
Ms. Helen Young of Durham; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Highview Baptist Church by the Rev. J.D.
Moore. Burial will be in Person Memorial Cemetery.
The family will be at Brooks and White Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 this evening. 3, Mrs. Jeanette Stigall Clack
