Lora Lee “Sis” Wade
 
 GIBSONVILLE — Lora Lee “Sis” Troxler Wade, 88, of 4362 Gilliam Church Road, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on August 27, 2015, at the Hospice Home of Alamance-Caswell.
 
 She was the youngest of 16 children born to Daisy Etta Smithey Troxler and Robert Banks Troxler and was the wife of the late Robert James Wade for 64 years.
 
 She was a lifetime member of Shiloh United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Christian Workers Sunday School Class, the Advanced Wisdom Team and a former member of the church choir. She worked at the former McMillan’s Restaurant and Apple House Cafeteria for many years.
 
 She is survived by daughters, Kaddy Haizlip (Curtis), Lynette Paylor (Phillip), Janet Bowman (Brian), Teresea Miller (Tim) and Jenny Hannah (Lee); 16 grandchildren, 11 greatgrandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; three stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Mildred Garrison, Dawn Troxler and Effie Troxler. Also surviving are many special nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sons, Clarence James Wade, Douglas Ray Wade and Ricky Lynn Wade; six sisters, Alice Lewis, Lona Mae Wicker, Mary Elizabeth Wade, Kate McMillan, Irene Howerton and Lona Estelle Troxler; nine brothers, Ira Lee Troxler, Thomas Troxler, B C Troxler, Wilbert Troxler, Robert Troxler, Howard Troxler, Paul Troxler, Edward Troxler and Willie Troxler.
 
 Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2015, in the Shiloh United Methodist Church by the Rev. Hyung Kim. Interment will follow in the Shiloh UMC Cemetery. Mrs. Wade will remain at Lowe Funeral Home until being taken to the church to lie in state 30 minutes prior to the funeral service.
 
 The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home from 4-6 p.m. Sunday and at the residence at other times.
 
 The family of Lora Lee wishes to express our heart felt gratitude to the staff of Hospice for the loving care they gave our mother over the last two years. We would also like to extend special thanks to our loving church family who have been so supportive.
