GREENSBORO — Virginia Cobb Lindley Kirkman, of McLeansville, formerly of Liberty NC, passed away peacefully Friday July 19, 2013 after several months of declining health. She was 90 years old and the first born of James and Katie Lee Cobb. Her funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday July 22, 2013 at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. Interment will immediately follow at church cemetery. ARA Hospital Food Service Management having worked in Greensboro, Elkin, Burlington and Asheboro. Virginia was predeceased by her husbands Dwight Lindley and Howard Kirkman, brother Stanley Cobb and sister Frances Phillips. She is survived by daughter Phyllis L. Jones (Charlie) of McLeansville and son Charles Lindley (Rhonda) of Stokesdale, brother Robert Cobb (Lib), sisters Marie O'Shields (Steve), Thelma Crutchfield (Lawrence), Gladys Clapp (John) all of McLeansville, and sister Rita Rodabaugh (Karl) of Chicowinitty NC, Granddaughters Audrey Boviall (Steve), Jennifer Cornelius (Robert), Alice White (Sam), Charlene Bland (Martin), Joanna Sample (John), and Rebecca Stugelmeyer (Mark), eleven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. 404, Virginia Lee Cobb-3 January 1923 – 19 July 2013 • L4HW-LSD
