Lorraine M. Apple


GIBSONVILLE - Lorraine Mann Apple, 92, formerly of Gibsonville, passed away January 26, 2017 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
A native of Danville, VA, she was the wife of the late G. Ervin Apple and daughter of the late Lester Mann and Ethel Lane Mann Johnson. She was a homemaker and a member of Gibsonville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Apple of Calabash, NC; grandchildren, Brian Forrester and wife, Jessica, Nesie Murray and husband, Chad, Mark Forrester and wife, Isley, and Emily Apple; 10 greatgrandchildren; a sister, Shirley Plamann and husband, Russ, of Seymour, TN; a sister-in-law, Ella Apple; her caretaker, Sheree Apple; several nieces and nephews and many longtime friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son Ervin Gerald Apple and step-father, Henry Johnson.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Sybil Parks.

The family will receive friends following the service.
