Pauline (Walters) Roach
Pauline (Walters) Roach, 89, died Friday, April 16, 2004. She was a resident of Indianapolis and a former resident of Needham.
She was born Oct. 17, 1914, in Paoli. Her parents were Oscar and Gladys (Waynick) Walters. She married Herschel Roach on Nov. 15, 1936, in Paoli. He preceded her in death March 9, 1983. Survivors include a sister, Louise Inabnit; a nephew; and two nieces. She was preceded in death by a son, Larry Wayne Roach; four brothers, Carl, Kenneth, Dale and Glenn Walters; and two sisters, Marie Hall and Ruth Godsey.
She was employed by Indiana Farm Bureau Co-Op as a pricing clerk for 15 years, retiring in 1974.
She was the oldest living member of Pleasant Valley Church in Clark Township and was a member of its women's fellowship.
A service will be conducted at noon today in Little & Sons Funeral Home, Beech Grove Chapel, 1301 Main St. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service today at the funeral home. Burial will be at Acton Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Altenheim Community Life Enrichment Fund in care of the funeral home.
