Joseph was the son of Leonard Dennis Rippey (1864-1924) and Sudie Waynock (1867-1943). He married Rosa Spencer (1904-1971). Joseph's siblings were Annie Jane and Leonard Phillip.  [15011]

Rosa was the wife of Corbett Hasten Spencer (1898-1946).

She married Joseph Michael Rippey (1899-1953) after his death, and then married Jim Hawks (1914-1963) after his death.

She outlived three husbands.

Note the (common) misspelling of Rippy on the headstone.

She had three daughters with Corb: Cecil, Velna, and Vera. She had one daughter with Joseph: Sudie Jo.  [15021]
