Shelby Jean Hill
BURLINGTON — Shelby Jean Hill, 70, of 2056 Durham St., Burlington, died March 24, 2009 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro.
She was a loving mother and devoted wife. Her heartfelt stories, laughter and love will be greatly missed.
Survivors include her spouse, Jerry W. Hill of the home; two daughters, Sheryl (Kenneth)Tyre and Rhonda (Steven) Nedohin, both of Burlington, N.C.; grandson, Bon Tyre of Burlington; three brothers, John Skenes, William Skenes and George Skenes, all of Burlington.
She was preceded in death by her parents,William Skenes and Mildred York Skenes; a daughter, Sharon Parrish; a son, Lonnie (Bubba) Parrish; a brother, Richard Skenes and five sisters, Marie Cameron, Lucy Simpson, Virginia Honeycutt, Kathlene Perry and Jeanette Overman.
There will be no funeral service. A memorial service will be held at Temple Baptist Church, 420 Lang St., in Haw River at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 26.

BURLINGTON — Shelby Jean Hill, 70, of 2056 Durham St., Burlington, died March 24, 2009 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro.
