YANCEYVILLE Janie Webster Carver, 88, of Yanceyville passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021 at AlamanceHealth Care Center in Burlington. Janie was born in Caswell County to John Edgar and Naomi Pulliam Webster both deceased. She was the wife of the late JamesWillard Carver. Janie was retired fromA.O. Smith and she was a member of Old Lea Bethel Baptist Church.
Janie is survived by her: sons, John W. “Will” Carver (Pamela) of ProspectHill, James R.“Red” Carver (Lisa) of Elon, JerryW. Carver of Fayetteville. Twelve grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Siblings, FrankWebster of Alamance and Sadie Stokes of Altamahaw. Daughter in law, Cathy Carver. Sister in law, Mary Griffin (Harry) of Greensboro. In addition to her parents and husband, Janie was also preceded in death by her son, Donnie Carver and brothers, Grover, Eddie and AaronWebster.
A graveside service will be held Monday, July 19, 2021 at 2:00 PMin Cooper Cemetery, Cooper Cemetery Rd., ProspectHill, NC. Officiating will be Reverend Richard Rorrer. The family will receive friends atMcClure FuneralHome inMebane from 6:00PMuntil 8:00 Sunday evening. At other times they will be at residence ofWill Carver, 1275 Carver Rd., Prospect Hill, NC 27314.
