BURLINGTON - Anne I. Pope, 78, of Burlington passed away at her residence surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at 9:04 p.m.
A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Eugene Martin Isley and Mary Ruth Shoffner Isley, both deceased. She was the owner and operator of Anne’s Beauty Shop for over 46 years. She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church where she was active in her Sunday school class and the United Methodist Women.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Daniel Pope and E. Deron Pope and wife Tammy, all of Burlington; two grandchildren, Madison G. Pope and Zachery T. Pope, both of Burlington; and two sisters, Helen Shaw and Janet Lassiter and husband David Sr., all of Burlington. She was preceded in death by a sister, Jean Carol Crumpton.
The funeral service will be conducted at Friendship United Methodist Church on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 1:00 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Friendship United Methodist Church Cemetery.
