Lacy Robert Fogleman
Lacy Robert Fogleman, born in the Alamance Community in Guilford County, North Carolina on March 2, 1932, passed away peacefully at Caldwell County Hospice and Palliative Care on Tuesday, July 9, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lacy R. Fogleman Sr. and Virginia Dare Mitchell Fogleman, one brother and three sisters. He is survived by his wife, Laura Fogleman of Greensboro, his daughter Margaret Holder of Boone, his son Bryan Fogleman of Elon College, five grandchildren and six nieces and nephews.
Following three years of service in the U.S. Army, he spent most of his career working for Alamance County Schools as Choral Director and Driver’s Ed Instructor. He also worked at St. Mark’s Reformed Church.
Visitation will be on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 10:00am at Tabernacle United Methodist Church, 5721 Methodist Rd., Greensboro. A memorial service will follow at 11:00am. The committal service will be at Alamance Presbyterian Church at 4000 Presbyterian Road, Greensboro.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood St., Lenoir, NC 28645.

Lacy Robert Fogleman, born in the Alamance Community in Guilford County, North Carolina on March 2, 1932, passed away peacefully at Caldwell County Hospice and Palliative Care on Tuesday, July 9, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lacy R. Fogleman Sr. and Virginia Dare Mitchell Fogleman, his brother George Frank Fogleman and sisters Lorraine Grant, Jean Bolton and Joann Yarber. He is survived by his wife Laura Fogleman of Greensboro, son Bryan Fogleman and wife Janet of Elon College, daughter Margaret Holder of Boone and five grandchildren including Sarah Elizabeth Stack, Rebecca Victoria Winn, Lacy Lorraine Holder, William Grant Holder and Margaret Catherine Holder. Nieces and nephews include Terri Usher and husband Gary, Franklin Yarber and wife Michelle, Scott Yarber, Annette Yarber Vanstory, Allen Holloway and wife Ellen and Karen Holloway.
