Mrs. Ada Lynch Doby Rich
GRAHAM — Mrs. Ada Lynch Doby Rich , 84, of Poplar Street, passed away Saturday, January 26, 2008, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, after several years of declining health.
A native Stokes County, Mrs. Rich was the daughter of the late Drew William Lynch and Martha Elizabeth Martin Lynch . She was the wife of the late H. Wayne Doby and A. Bradley Rich .
She was a retired partner of Rich’s Café in Graham and a member of the Graham Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the Friendship Sunday School Class.
Mrs. Rich is survived by a son, Jimmy Doby and his wife Cheryl of Colfax; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Grace Neese, Columbia, S.C.; and sisters, Ethel Smith of Pilot Mountain, Lula Stewart of King and Ola Gordon of Pinnacle. She is also survived by her loving granddaughters, Christy Cook, Cameron Messick, Ashley Doby , Shannon Ayscue, Samantha Brooks; a grandson, Bradley Ayscue and 4 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service for Mrs. Rich will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2008, at the Rich and Thompson Chapel in Graham and will be conducted by the Rev. Amanda Anderson. Burial will follow in Linwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Rich and Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham from 1 until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, immediately prior to the service.
