REIDSVILLE- Gracie Huskey Smithey, 79, of 806 Dockery Road Ext., died Friday, September 15, 2006 at Annie Penn Hospital.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 18, 2006 at Greenview Cemetery.
Mrs. Smithey was born in Rockingham County to the late Arthur and Lottie Walker Huskey. She was retired from Burlington Industries and was a member of Pleasantview Assembly of God.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dewey Smithey, daughters, Margie Smithey and Tammy Smithey, sisters, Mossie Smithey Jones and Lillian Huskey Langley and brothers, Herman, Clyde and Raymond Huskey.
Mrs. Smithey is survived by her daughter, Jean Smithey Bibee and husband Harvey of Elon; sons, Eddy L. Smithey and wife Sandra of the home and Teddy A. Smithey and wife Alice of Reidsville; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; best friend and granddaughter Pansy Graves; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Sunday, September 17, 2006 from 7 to 8 p.m. and other times at the home.
