    DALLAS, Texas — Cora Clark Lawson, age 44, of 740 Quietwood Drive, Dallas, Texas, passed away Monday March 22, 2010 at Baylor University Medical Center..
    A native of Riverdale, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Harvey James Clark and Rebecca Danieley Clark Stowe who survives. She attended East Carolina University and the University of North Texas where she earned her Masters Degree in Accounting. She was employed as the North American Region Accounts Manager for Alcatel-Lucent.
    She is survived by Mark Lawson of Dallas, Texas; parents, Rebecca Danieley Clark Stowe and Lehi Stowe, her best buddy; sisters, Carol C. Greenwood of Great Yarmouth, U.K., Sylvia C. Williams and husband Donald of Florence, S.C. and Pam S. Evatt and husband Rick of Plano, Texas; brothers, Barry Stowe Sr. and wife Libby of Taylorsville, N.C. and Franklin Stowe and wife Cathy of Burlington; and ten of the best nieces and nephews whom she grew up with and loved so much.
    She was preceded in death by her brother and sister-inlaw, Charles “Dickie” and Melody Clark: grandparents, Asa and Cora Danieley,
Charles and Verlie Clark, and James and Zelma Stowe.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday March 27, 2010 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Rick Evatt and the Rev. John Shields. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
    The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Friday at Lowe Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Lehi and Becky Stowe, 1055 Aunt Mary’s Rd., Burlington.
    Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 N. Danny Thomas Blvd., Memphis, T.N. 38105. Memorials may also be made to you local animal shelter because children were Cora’s first love and German Shepherds ran a close second.
