Louise (Gerringer) Rumley

August 29, 1930 ~ October 25, 2021 (age 91)

Elon – Louise Gerringer Rumley, 91, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.  She was born August 29, 1930 to the late John Frank Gerringer and Laura Alice Gerringer.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol Porterfield and husband Kendall, Donna Jones and husband Charles; grandchildren, Bryan Porterfield and wife Ksenia, Heather Morris and husband Brandon; great grandchildren, Raylan Morris, Charlie B Morris, Artyom “Arty” Porterfield; sister, Shelby Hodge and brother, G.W. Gerringer.  She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Ruby and Laverne.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Reid Dickens with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park. 
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to AuthoraCare Collective (Hospice) of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
