Mr. James Henry "Jamie" Walker
    BURLINGTON — Mr. James Henry "Jamie" Walker, 72, of 1714 Fairview St., died at 5:10 a.m. Monday, April 26, 2004, at his residence after an extended illness.
    A native of Caswell County, he was the husband of Elizabeth Dunn "Libby" Walker, who survives, and the son of the late Alvis and Laura Canady Walker. He was a retired truck driver for S &K Trucking and was a member of the Teamsters Union. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
    Survivors other than his wife of the home include two daughters, Pamela Peters of Rutherfordton, N.C. and Ginger Brown of Georgia; and two sons, James Lee Walker of Burlington and Shannon Walker of the home.
    At Jamie’s request there will be no services held, but would ask that all who wish to make a donation, make it to the Humane Society or to the Wildlife Federation in his honor.
