Mary Mae Holt Haith
MEBANE — Mary Mae Holt Haith , 96, of 8809 Harmony Church Road, died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill.
Born in Person County, she was a retired textile worker, a member of Florence Memorial Baptist Church and a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Graham Chapter 944.
Survivors include three sons, George Robert Haith (Ruth) of Chapel Hill, David Lindy Haith (Shirley) and Walter Lee Haith (Nancy), both of Mebane; three daughters, Lillian Marie Sanders (Jessie) of Oakgrove, Mo., Ida Lee Haithcock (Rayford) of Burlington, and Tanya Ann Hall (Luther) of Mebane; 18 grandchildren; 38 greatgrandchildren; 16 great-greatgrandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Agnes Haith of Burlington.
She was preceded in death by husband Levi Walter Haith ; a son, Ernest Walter Haith ; and parents, Robert Vance Holt and Lillie Bell Stone Holt .
A graveside funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2006, at Mt. Zion Christian Church with the Rev. James Florence officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane. Other times they will be at the residence.
