Audrey McCann Dickens
ELON — Audrey McCann Dickens, 74, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at her home after several years of declining health.
She was born in Alamance County to the late Leroy Miles McCann and the late Clara Esther Odell McCann.
Audrey retired after 40 years with Gold Toe. She was a member of Blessed Hope Baptist Church and the Tar Heel Chapter of the Coca-Cola Collectors’ Club.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Donna Paschal; stepson, Donnie Dickens; grandchildren, Chad Paschal and wife Kashena, Chris Paschal, Kelly Paschal and fiancé Fredrick “Tater” Harrelson and Nikki Hart; nine great- grandchildren; sister, Nola McCann Morrison; brothers and sister-inlaw, Maynard and Mary Mc-Cann and Jimmie McCann.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Cindy Paschal.
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, April 17, 2015, in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jeff McCann
with burial to follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and at other times at the sister’s home.
Memorials may be made to the Advanced Wisdom Team of Shiloh United Methodist Church, 4718 Hwy 87 North, Gibsonville, NC 27249.

BURLINGTON — James Calvin Paschal , 67, of 2242 May Drive, died Monday, March 20, 2006, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
He was born in Caswell County, son of the late James Conrad Paschal and Mrs. Irene Stanley Paschal .
He was a retired welder, and was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Sons of The American Legion, and a volunteer at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
He was preceded in death by his father; and a daughter, Cynthia Diane Paschal .
Survivors other than his mother of Burlington, include his wife, Janet Paschal of the home; one loving daughter, Gayle Moricle and husband, Tim, of Reidsville; one loving son, William Allen Paschal of Burlington; two grandsons, Chris Peele and Calvin Thompson and his wife, Amy, all of Reidsville; five greatgrandchildren, Georgia, Kayla, Dylan, Alizay, and Alexis; three brothers, Vance Paschal of Darlington, S.C., Danny Paschal and Larry Paschal , both of Reidsville; and three sisters, Genene Gilliam of Burlington, Brenda May and Connie Chilton, both of Reidsville.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2006, at Pine Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Jeff McCann.
The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory from 6 to 8 this evening.

BURLINGTON — Mr. Walter Franklin Dickens, 77, of 2165 Burch Bridge Road, Burlington, died on Friday, June 19, 2015 at Maple Grove Health and Rehabilitation Center in Greensboro.
A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Frank Edward Dickens and Beulah Sykes Dickens, both deceased. He retired from Sizemore Lumber Company.
Survivors include four sons, David Dickens and wife Stephanie of Madison, Jerry Dickens of Carolina Beach, Donnie Dickens of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and Jimmy Dickens of Carolina Beach; eleven grandchildren, Shawn, Bradley, Kenney, Michael, D.J., Chris and Melinda Dickens, Michael, Matthew and Melissa Holmes, and Erika Lindley; twelve great-grandchildren; and one brother, Mike Edward Dickens.
He was predeceased by a daughter Brenda Dickens Holmes; and a granddaughter, Amanda Holmes.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at the Rich and Thompson Chapel in Burlington with Rev. David King officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
