Mrs. Artency Lashley
GRAHAM — Mrs. Artency Murray Lashley, 92, of 2012 W. Carolina Ave. Hartsville, S.C., died at midnight. Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2001, at Morrell Memorial Convalescent Center in Hartsville after one year of failing health. She was a former resident of 1149 Hanford Road.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late Mr. Thomas Dewitt Lashley, and the daughter of Mr. Guthrie Murray and Mrs. Rosenia Wilson Murray, both deceased. She was a homemaker and was a charter member of Andrews Memorial Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for more than 50 years.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Carol Lashley Lynn of Hartsville; a sister, Mrs. Foy Maness of Haw River; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday at Andrews Memorial Baptist Church by Dr. Tommy Willis, pastor. Burial will be in Graham Memorial Park.
The family will be at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 6 to 8 this evening and at other times at the home in Graham.
