Mrs. Foy Frances Murray Maness
BURLINGTON — Mrs. Foy Frances Murray Maness, 95, of 1885 Haw River-Hopedale Road, died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2004, at the Hospice Home in Burlington.
She was a homemaker and attended People’s Memorial Christian Church, where she was a member of the Macie Long May Sunday school class.
Survivors include a sisterin-law, Mrs. Nadine Maness of Burlington; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ben Harrison Maness; her parents, Guthrie Limon and Rocenia Wilson Murray ; two sisters, Mrs. Artency Murray Lashley and Mrs. Lorena Murray Hurdle; and two brothers, Mr. Luther Murray and Mr. Herman Murray .
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004, at Alamance Memorial Park by the Rev. John Shields, pastor of People’s Memorial Christian Church, and the Rev. George M. "Jack" Phillips Jr., pastor of Zion Christian Church.
The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004, before the service, and at other times at the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Nadine Maness, 766 Indian Village Trail, Burlington.
