BURLINGTON — Ozelle Boone Broyles , 88, formerly of Graham died on Sunday, September 16, 2007, at the Homeplace of Burlington. She was born in Alamance County, daughter of the late Joel Ralph and Bertha Huffines Boone , and was married to the late Clifford "Cliff " Charles Broyles . She was former branch manager for Stanley Home Products for over 58 years. She was a member of Lakeview Community Church and the Ruth Faucette Circle and was a 1935 graduate of Pleasant Grove High School.
She is survived by her stepdaughter, Linda Mydal of Point Roberts, Wash.; stepson, Garry C. Broyles of Waycross, Ga.; 4 step-grandchildren; a sister, Agnes Boone Blanchard of Burlington and a brother and sister-in-law, W. Holt and Wilma Boone of Burlington. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, Lillian Boone Jones and a brother, Joel Ralph Boone Jr.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2007, at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Reid Dickens. Interment will follow in Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home and other times at the home of her sister, Agnes Blanchard, 577 Boone Rd., Burlington.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Rd., Burlington, NC 27215.
