COLD SPRING, Ky. — Sylvia A. Boggs Barnard , 66, of Cold Spring, Kentucky, died Sunday, May 7, 2006, after a heroic battle with cancer.
Sylvia was born and raised in Burlington, North Carolina to the parents of Verlie Boggs and Lillian Jones and attended Pleasant Grove High School.
She leaves behind her beloved husband, William D. Barnard , and three daughters, Debra Hudson, Sheila Hudson, and Leslie Hertzenberg.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Bivens, and a granddaughter, Sara Bivens. She leaves behind a brother, Larry Boggs , his wife Pam, a half brother, Billy Boggs , and half sister, Faye Ward, all of Burlington. She was blessed with a total of seven grandchildren. She was an EMT volunteer of the Cold Spring Fire Department for 10 years and a dedicated employee of Dr. Z. Charles Fixler for 26 years.
Entombment will be in Alexandria Cemetery Mausoleum, Alexandria, Ky.

COLD SPRING, Ky. — Sylvia A. Boggs Barnard , 66, of Cold Spring, Kentucky, died Sunday, May 7, 2006, after a heroic battle with cancer.
