PINEVILLE, N.C. — Melissa Pauline Smith Cook, 34, of 114 Reid Lane, Pineville, N.C., died Jan. 11, 2011, at her home.
Born in Orange County, she was a medical assistant.
Survivors include her daughters,SerenaNicoleCook and Christina Rose Cook; son, John James Cook Jr.; mother, Peggy Huffines Erlandson, of Ocala, Fla.; father, Larry James Smith, of Douglas, Ga.; sisters, Kimrey Anne Martin and husband Duane of Rougemont, N.C., Mary Elizabeth Blount and husband Howard of Ocala, Fla., and Tracy Ruse and husband Leveat of Charlotte, N.C.
A memorial service will be conducted
Saturday, Feb. 12, 2011, in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel, 1030 South Main St., Graham, N.C. 27253.
After the service, the family will receive friends at the home of Aunt Willie Mae Oldham, 142 Dakota Drive, Graham, N.C. 27253.
