OBITUARIES Lelia Agnes Snead Ellis
GRAHAM — Lelia Agnes Snead Ellis, 76, of 1117 Kelly St., died Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at White Oak Manor.
A native of Galax, Va., she was the wife of the late William James Snead and the late Walter Ellis. She was the daughter of the late Gilbert Lester and Amanda Jane Vass. She was a retired textile employee and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two daughters, Jane Faucette and husband, Ronnie, of Burlington and Linda Davis and husband, Steve, of Liberty; three sons, Michael J. Snead and wife, Sherry, of Burlington and Phillip A. Snead and John W. Snead and wife, Pattie, all of Graham; a brother, Clifton W. Vass of Stuart, Va.; 14 grandchildren; and 23 greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Marley Snead; a son, William James Snead Jr.; six sisters; and three brothers.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham. Burial will be in Graham Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 6 to 8 this evening, and at other times at the residence of Michael and Sherry Snead, 6863 Holt’s Store Road, Burlington. 3, Lelia Agnes Snead Ellis
