Janice Andrews Somerset, 81, of Burlington passed away at her residence on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at 8:06 a.m.
A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Thomas Bruce Andrews and Mary Magdalene Lowe Andrews, both deceased. She retired from Brown Wooten Mills and was a member of Glen Raven Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Faith Dew, Mary Jean Dew and Susan Wrenn; son, Richard Dew and wife Denise; sister, Edna Hall and husband Arthur; four brothers, Bruce Andrews, Jr., Richard Andrews and wife Nancy, Carl Dean Andrews and wife Martha and Howard Andrews; two grandchildren, Brad and Stacey (Josh); and two great grandchildren, Brent and Daniel.
The funeral service will be conducted at Glen Raven Baptist Church on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. by Rev. Bobby Fann with the family receiving friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the . church. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. Other times they will be at the residence.
