Richard L. Andrews, 84, of Burlington, NC passed away at his residence on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at his residence.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Nancy Byrd Andrews, who survives and the son of Thomas Bruce Andrews and Magalene Lowe Andrews, both deceased. He retired from Burlington Industries as a dye house supervisor.
In addition to his wife of their home, survivors include two sons, David Thomas Andrews (Georgia) of Winston-Salem and Kevin Brian Andrews (Todd Jividen) of Apex; three grandchildren, Devin Andrews (Megan), Blake Andrews, and Caroline Andrews; a great grandchild, Landen Andrews; brother, Howard Andrews; and sister, Edna Hall (Arthur). He was preceded in death by two brothers, Carl Andrews and Bruce Andrews and four sisters, Janice Somerset, Hilda Teer, Marian Putnam, and Emma Jean Moser.
A graveside service will be held at Alamance Memorial Park on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at 2:00 pm.
