Bernard Carroll Teer
MEBANE — Mr. Bernard Carroll Teer, 76, of 2565 South Jim Minor Road, Mebane, died at the Hospice Home in Burlington on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 7:15 p.m., following several years declining health and one week critical illness.
A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of the late Anna Lou Parrish Teer and the son of Grady Bryant Teer and Ollie Freshwater Teer, both deceased. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Hawfields Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Ms. Debi Christian of Boca Raton, Fla., and Mrs. Tracy Hudson and husband, Rex, of Burlington; one brother, Mr. William Hartsell Teer of Burlington; and one grandchild, David Hudson.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Miss Evelyn Teer and Mrs. Virginia T. Overman; and one brother, Mr. Myron D. Teer.
The funeral will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Friday, May 23, 2008 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Curtis Fussell. Burial will follow in Hawfields Presbyterian Church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Friday from 1 until 2 p.m., and at other times they will be at the residence of a daughter, Tracy Hudson, 412 Glen Oaks Road, Burlington, N.C.
