Obituary Online notes for Lloyd Harding COZART

Burlington – Mr. Lloyd Harding Cozart, 90, of 1987 Hilton Road, Burlington died at Alamance Health Care Center on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 6:53 p.m. 

A native of Durham County, he was the husband of the late Hazel Andrews Cozart and the late Ernestine M. Cozart and the son of Hunter McBride Cozart and Mary Cash Cozart, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by a brother and several sisters. 

Lloyd was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving during World War II. He retired from Sumner Automotive with 35 years of service and was a member of Glen Hope Baptist Church. 

Surviving are many nieces and nephews, including Judy Bernhardt and husband Robert of Greenville, NC, Cathy Tarlton and husband Tim, Sue Walton and husband Steve and Connie Yarborough and husband W.D., Rickie Hall and wife Cyndy all of Burlington, Darryl Andrews and wife Mae of Greensboro, Randall Andrews and wife Julia of Lumberton. 

The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Monday, January 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. by Rev. Larry Redding with the family receiving friends from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
