CHAPELHILL - Margaret Elizabeth Walton, 55, of Chapel Hill passed away at her residence on Monday, November 28, 2022.
A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Steven Walton, who survives and the late Sue Guinn Walton.
In addition to her father of Burlington, survivors include her son, Benjamin Howell of Chapel Hill; sister, Angela Dodson and husband Chris of Burlington; niece, Presley Powell; her loving dog, Jennie; and a special friend, Craig Longnecker of ChapelHill.
She was preceded in death by a son, Steven M. Nix.
Memorials may be made to Residential Treatment Services of Alamance or the Burlington Animal Shelter.
Services will be held at a later date. Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington is assisting the family.
