Voncille Spoon

Voncille Todd Spoon, 93, passed away at her home in Dallas, GA on Thursday, July 21, 2022 after several years of failing health.  She was born in Baltimore, MD on January 3, 1929 to the late Everette Vance and Edna Christine Todd and was very close to her grandmother, Mattie Isley Foster. She was the wife of 19 years to the late Robert Odell Spoon.
 
Voncille was a member of Christ Covenant Presbyterian Church in Woodstock, GA and retired as Director of Stovall NC Senior Center.  She enjoyed playing cards and eating popcorn, fishing and doing community service.  She also loved her dog, Pepper. Most of all Voncille loved and cherished her family, especially her grandchildren.
 
Survivors include her son, Robert Todd Spoon and spouse Donna Kathleen Spoon of Dallas, GA; daughter, Robbie Spoon Bell and spouse Joe Bell of Graham and grandchildren, Clinton Bell, Lauren Bell Church, Charles Spoon, Emma Spoon, Thomas Spoon and Robert Spoon.  She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and grandparents.
 
A service to celebrate her life will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, July 30, 2022 by Rev. Job Dalomba at Christ Covenant Presbyterian Church of Woodstock at 130 Arnold Mill Rd. Suite 300, Woodstock, Ga. 30188.  A graveside service will also be held at 10:00am on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Alamance Memorial Park by Rev. Jim Mitchell.
 
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Covenant Presbyterian Church of Woodstock at 130 Arnold Mill Rd. Suite 300, Woodstock Ga. 30188. 256
