Frances Loy Wright
BALTIMORE, Md. — Frances Loy Wright, age 85, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2010.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late John Reid Wright and daughter of the late Kinnie Horner and Joseph Lester Loy Sr.
She was a member of Middle River Baptist Church, was a hairdresser and had been employed by Burlington Industries, Altamahaw Plant. In 1957, she and her husband moved from Burlington to Baltimore.
Survivors include her sons, John Reid Wright Jr. and wife Julia of Huntsville, Ala., and Joseph Gillis Wright and wife Andrea of Hagerstown, Md.; grandchildren, Meghan Wright and Sean Wright; brother, Joe L. Loy Jr. and wife Sylvia of Burlington.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, siblings, Garland Loy, Virgie Wilson, Richard Loy, Margaret Crouse and Ora Mae Lowe.
Graveside services will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Monday, November 29, 2010 at Alamance Memorial Park by the Rev. John D. Shields.
The family will receive friends at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, prior to the graveside service.
