Juanita “Wall-Wall” Frye Wall
Mrs. Juanita “Wall-Wall” Frye Wall, 100, of Burlington, passed away Friday, January 22, 2021 at the Hospice Home of Burlington.
A native of Forsyth County, Mrs. Wall was the wife of the late Garland Wall and the daughter of the late George Thomas Frye, Sr. and the late Ida Lashmit Frye.
Mrs. Wall retired from Alamance County Hospital where she worked as a CNA. She also worked part time at White Oak Manor.
Mrs. Wall attended St. Mark’s Church.
Mrs. wall is survived by two daughters, Barbara Wall Cheek Ward and Rebecca Sue “Becky” Wall, both of Burlington; two grandchildren, John (Gayle) and Richard (Sherry) Cheek, great-grandchildren, Brystol Cheek, Taylor Cheek, Chase MacLeod and Dylan MacLeod; two brothers, John Franklin Frye of Candler, NC and Roy Dean Frye of Florida.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Wall was preceded in death by a daughter, Jo Anne Wall, a grandson, Jeffrey Brent Cheek, a greatdaughter, Summer MacLeod; sisters, Donneice Turney, Deloria Parrott and Collene Jester and brothers, H.C. Frye, James Frye, Richard Frye, Leroy Frye, and George T. “Junior” Frye, Jr.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM.
The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Rich and Thompson Chapel in Burlington. Officiating will be the Rev. Ben Bishop. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will be at the home of Barbara Ward, 3027 Maple Ave., B-1, (Greystone Condominiums), Burlington, NC 27215.
