    SNOW CAMP, N.C. — Mr. David Junior Ward, 75, died Monday, August 20, 2012 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.

    He was born in Alamance County to the late Charlie Gilmore and Adell Mansfield Ward and was husband to Shelba Stewart Ward, of the home. Mr. Ward was a past employee with Commercial Levin Metals and was a U.S. Army veteran.

    He is survived by his wife of the home; daughters, Barbara Sue Arbin of New York, Lucie Hinshaw of Elon, Natasha Watts and husband Tracy of Ramseur; stepdaughter, Debra McNair and husband Mike of Swepsonville; five grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; nine greatstepgrandchildren; sisters, Violet Mae Stewart of Burlington and Inez Smith of Raleigh.

    He was preceded in death by sisters, Rosie Cox, Nellie Huffines, Lela Mae Cambell; and brothers, Johnny Ward, Freeman Ward, Desi Ward and Duvoy Ward.

    A Service of Remembrance will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 23 in the Lowe Funeral Home Chapel. Memorials may be made to David Ward’s Funeral Fund, c/o Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory, 2205 S.
