Everett Garland Andrews, 87, of Mooresville, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2014.
He was born on September 17, 1926 in Burlington, NC to the late Samuel and Mary Ann Andrews. Mr. Andrews served his country in the US Marine Corps during WWII. He had a lifelong career in construction culminating with his position of Chief Building Inspector for Mecklenburg County. Mr. Andrews was a member of the Mooresville Masonic Lodge #496 AF & AM. Since moving to Mooresville in 2002, he was actively involved in serving at First Presbyterian Church and Park Avenue United Methodist Church and several other community agencies.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Wingate Weaver Andrews. 470, Everett Garland Andrews
