BURLINGTON — Doris Alene Woody , 84, of 1018 Stoney Creek Church Road, died Sunday, June 4, 2006 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
A native of Caswell County, she was retired from Burlington Mills where she was employed for 39 years. She was a member of Stoney Creek Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a sister, Alma (Carl) DeBruler of Burlington; two brothers Carl E. (Annie C.) Woody of Burlington and Clyde D. (Beulah) Woody of Winter Park, Fla., and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Johnny Edward and Cornelius Mae Woody and brothers James H. Woody and R.F. Woody .
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Stoney Creek Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Ken Hickey officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Graham from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening. Other times the family will be at the residence of Alma and Carl DeBruler, 1018 Stoney Creek Church Road in Burlington.
