William Paul Taylor 
    BURLINGTON — William Paul Taylor , 95, of the Homeplace of Burlington died Saturday, July 31, 2004 at Alamance Regional Medical Center following a short illness. He was the husband to the late Margie Singleton Taylor  and the son to the late William  M. and Mary Anna Lewis Taylor . He was a native of Alamance County, a self employed carpenter and a member of Burlington Christian Church. William  served in the US Army during WW II and was a very talented musician.
    Survivors include several nieces and nephews and special friends William  Stanfield and his wife Dot of Elon.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and a brother Vernon Taylor .
    The funeral will be held 7:00 PM Monday, August 2, 2004 at Burlington Christian Church by Walter Thornton, Jr. Visitation will be 5-7:00 PM Monday evening prior to the service. Mr. Taylor  will then be taken to Paul  Funeral Home in Washington, NC for visitation there 12:30 - 1:30 PM Tuesday with a 2:00 PM graveside service at Pamlico Memorial Gardens. 3, William Paul Taylor
