LIBERTY, NC - Mollie Beatrice Holyfield “Mollie B.” Rich, 89, of 4671 Stafford Mill Rd., Liberty, NC 27298, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the Hospice Home in Alamance County surrounded by her beloved family. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Bynum Lincoln Rich; son, Randy Lee Rich; parents, Charlie Anderson and Ida Wood Holyfield; sisters, Lela Hardy, Dorothy Myers and Favor Wells; brothers, Howard, Garland and Floyd Holyfield and two infant brothers.
She had just moved into her tiny house, which she loved, built by her children, Linda House (Jay), Wanda Baldwin (Chris), Gayle Silver (Dickie) and Wayne Rich (Vickie). Other survivors include her 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter and brother, Richard Holyfield (Jean).
A service to celebrate her life will be held 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Lighthouse Bible Church by Rev. Dickie Silver with the burial to follow at Alamance Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday at Lowe Funeral Home and other times at the daughter, Gayle’s home.
